To begin, I picked two names, Keller & Co. and Holtzberg. With each name I chose many typefaces that could represent the fictional buisness.
Next, I chose the four typefaces that stuck out to me most for both names. I then experimented with the design and composition of the characters.
From the four typefaces and many designs of the two businesses, I picked my favorite design and personalized the business name even more by including their areas of expertise.
In the end, I chose Keller & Co. This design works in both large and small scale.
This is a mood board for the stone working business. The images and color scheme give a good idea of the vibe of the company. The two fonts are credited at the top.
With the name and mood board settled, I created three business card designs that emphasize the brick work of the company.
